The United States has ended its participation in the Council of Europe’s Group of States against Corruption (GRECO), of which it had been a member since 2000.

On 20 March 2025, the Group of States against Corruption launched the sixth evaluation round of implementation of certain provisions of Resolution (97)24 “On the Twenty Guiding Principles for the Fight against Corruption”, Criminal Law Convention on Corruption and/or Civil Law Convention on Corruption.
