Following the results of the meeting it was decided to send the materials of the expert group meeting to the CIS countries for internal harmonization, and then to submit the draft Concept to the CIS Council of Heads of State for consideration.

The Concept is primarily focused on the systematic and coordinated development of legal and organizational foundations for combating corruption in the CIS countries and the formation of an effective mechanism for inter-country cooperation in this area.

It is expected that the provisions of the Concept will become the basis for the development of international treaties and other international and domestic legal acts of the CIS member states, as well as interstate anti-corruption programs.
