The conference was attended by more than 1600 people from 130 countries, for whom more than 40 different working groups were organized and 5 plenary sessions were held on the themes: justice, fairness, security, trust and transparency.
The event included an anti-corruption film festival and the annual presentation of the Anti-Corruption Award, which was won by a group of prosecutors organizing Operation Car Wash.
The conference also presented some practical tools and initiative projects, such as a methodological guide for identifying "corruption indicators" in public procurement developed by the Partnership for Open Contracting and the Development Portal.
At the end of the conference, the participants adopted a declaration calling on the public sector, business and civil society to unite in the fight against corruption, and announced that the 18th international anti-corruption conference will be held in Denmark.
