The publication was presented by the University of Santiago de Chile Press (Editorial USACH). Edited by Mauricio Olavarría Gambi, it brings together academic papers by researchers from Chile, Italy and Spain on corruption, public integrity and transparency in the three countries.
The main focus is on the Chilean experience, including the development of international anti-corruption standards and their influence on Chile, the perception of corruption among politicians and public officials, and indicators of public corruption at the subnational level.
Separate chapters address the relationship between transparency and corruption, issues of public integrity and accountability, and a comparative analysis of approaches to combating corruption in Italy and Spain.
