The initiative aims to support ECPR’s mission to advance the study of corruption through cross-disciplinary dialogue on theoretical developments, empirical research, and policy-oriented perspectives.
The seminar series provides a free monthly online forum showcasing cutting-edge research across a variety of empirical, theoretical, and methodological perspectives, as well as scholarly traditions. In particular, presentations will be delivered by members of the ECPR Standing Group on (Anti-)Corruption and Integrity and special guests, followed by a moderated discussion.
The first seminar, entitled “Political Corruption as Accountability Deficit: A Theory-Based Study of Hungary”, took place on April 1, 2026.
